The square window

The world comes alive through my small window..
And I cherish, I wonder.
I see through the looking glass ..
to that small glimpse of infinity..

And hold my breath for hope..

Little trifling daemons visit me every day..
I fight, I learn.
The rubics cube never matches,
Still I play,
and continue learning.

The square window brought news
of passing sand,  and shining faces.
I can't hear..but I do see them..
the pretentious smile,
and the forgotten tears they hold..

The squared world changes color,
yet stands still,
At  dusk, my window reminds me
of the days passed by..

I smile back at the squared world,
and ignite the candles in the other side..

(inspired by Amar janla, a song by Anjan Dutta
